New: Accelerator+ Series Rods. These rods have a fast, smooth
action. They are built on high quality, multi-modulus blanks with super
light glass scrims for durability. This high modulus graphite makes an incredibly slim,
light and strong rod. These are truly fast action rods with plenty
of butt power to handle strong fish and to set the hook firmly. These rods
generate tremendous line speed and tight loops with minimum effort. They
are finished with a stealth, matte black finish.
Best of all, these rods are priced Hundreds of Dollars
less than comparable factory rods. They are available in most lengths and
weights. They are all four piece rods. Blanks are available at approximately 1/2 the price of
comparable "Brand Name" blanks. See below for pricing. All

New: Smoky
Mountain Series Rods. These blanks are IM6 graphite, yielding a
moderately fast rod that is a delight to cast. These blanks are slimmer
than the original Blue Ridge Series Blank. They make smooth casting rods that
satisfy the needs of most anglers. Most lengths and weights are available
in two and four piece configurations. The four
piece 7 1/2' 4 wt., perfect for backpacking, is an awesome medium size stream
rod with a surprisingly fast action. Additionally, these blanks
and rods are available in 5' 3 wt, 5 1/2' 4 wt and a 6'6" 2 wt. Again, Blue
Ridge Rods is trying to fill the void left by traditional rod
companies. These rods are also finished with a stealth, matte black
finish. The 5' and 5 1/2' rods start at $195.00 and most two piece rods
range in price from $220.00 to $280.00. Four piece rods are approximately

The original Blue Ridge Series Rods have a smooth, moderately fast action. The blanks
are 43,000,000 modulus (IM6 Equivalent), and are built in the Far East to take
advantage of lower labor costs. The action of these rods has been likened
to the old Sage Light Line Series. They are finished to a deep, translucent
brown color. These rods are available in two and four piece models, and in
lengths and weights from a 6' 2/3 wt to 9' 12 weights. The
Blue Ridge Series Rod Salt Water series is a stronger, serious, big fish
rod with a faster action. The 9' 9 wt. is a match for all but the largest
Tarpon and Blue Water fish at an unbelievable price.
